Now I have announced it to the world........

I'm Jazzi and I'm addicted to Monster High ™ dolls and everything that has anything to do with them. Call it my middle age crisis, or whatever; however I am hooked. I'm a middle age married woman that lives in Minnesota with my husband and our "zoo" (3 cats and a dog). I am a bookbinder by trade, hold a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Corrections/Criminal Justice and an AA degree in Liberal Arts. Due to being "challenged physically and mentally" I am unable to work outside the home and instead I am the "zoo keeper" at home while I work on my various projects.

I guess I'm announcing it to the world now,   Through my travels I have run into other adult Monster High™ addicts, so I know that I am not alone anyway. YIKES! Growing up I was never that much of a Barbie™ doll girl. I played with them some with my sister and friends because they liked too, however I preferred to play and rough house with the boys which ended up with me being "one of the guys" in high school.

Then about two months ago I started looking around eBay™ as I do from time to time since I have been a buyer, seller and even a trading assistant (sold for others) at one point. It was love at first sight when I saw the Monster High ™Dolls by Mattel™. I don't know how I have missed seeing them for so many years. (released in 2009 I think) other than I always avoid the toy area unless shopping for my nieces and nephews.

I have gone literally insane! I have at least one of each doll and in may instances two or more as they are dressed in different clothing or came with different things like their diary, pet, etc. I bought so much that I literally double bought on some things in fear I wouldn't wind one auction, I bid on another just in case. So I have some to sell for sure and I was able to find a lot of stationary-type Monster High items and bought as many as I could find so that I can sell them too.

Then what kind of blows my mind a bit is that I am working on a diorama or two so that hubby has prototypes so that he may cut them out of wood. I will be sanding, staining and adding hardware to them where needed and I will be making different bedding, pillows, and upholstered cushions for furniture too.

It is absolutely crazy, or I'm out of my mind....LOL I spent 4 hours one evening at the local craft and sewing store because they were having a HUGE sale on fancy materials that had major bling on them. and I am starting to make clothes for my "girls and guys". I have even gone as far as to buy Barbie items so that I may paint and decorate them for my MH Kids!

I don't even start my beginner sewing class for another couple weeks. Even though we are able to choose our own project, I don't think that making a dress for a doll with a 1" waist is going to fly LOL. I have some other ideas with all the material and notions for it too.

I know I follow a lot of Paint Shop Pro™ and Photoshop™ scrap makers on this account, however I am trying each of the blog types to see what I like best. This one is my Monster High™ Doll Anonymous blog.

Have a Fangtastic Day!
